Contribution ManagementThe Contributions management bundle allows you to quickly enter charitable contributions. The contributions are then automatically input into the accounting side of the software. The contributions are also tracked by person, allowing you to easily print out contribution statements at the end of the year to mail to your donors. The location where you will enter your contributions will also automatically add people to your people database if it is the first time they have given, eliminating double entry. (read more)The Contributions management bundle allows you to quickly enter charitable contributions. It includes the People Database (please see above for specific People Database functionality). The contributions automatically input into the accounting side of the software and your people database is automatically updated. In addition, you gain a new report titled "Giving Statement." For example: If you held a silent auction fundraiser and sold 19 items you could enter all of those proceeds at one time in a single batch. As you enter the deposits you notice some of the checks have addresses on them. You can enter the address on the same line as the deposit. If it is from a new donor it will automatically create a new person in your People Database. If the check is from a previous donor, but that donor has moved it will automatically update that donor's address. You can select which account to deposit the funds into or simply select one account for all of the funds. Here is the best part: at the end of the year, when it is time to send out your donor statements you open your giving statement report and print. All of your giving statements will print with the donor's address preformatted for a DW-84 double window envelope. Each donor statement shows the dates and amounts of each donation by fund with a total at the bottom. Can you imagine finishing your donor statements by just clicking print? If you would like to purchase DW-84 envelopes that are formatted specifically for Aplos you can do so by clicking here. (close) |
