About Aplos Software

Aplos Software is simple, efficient, and flexible fund accounting software. We designed our software with the non-accountant volunteer in mind. Aplos was written to offer churches and nonprofits an uncomplicated, easy to navigate, straightforward and reliable accounting software .

History

In 2008, Tim Goetz searched extensively for accounting software for his own nonprofit and was unsuccessful in his search. In 2009, Tim joined with Dan Kelly and they founded Aplos Software to create easy-to-use fund accounting software. In January of 2010, our first desktop version was released. Initial customer response was excellent — customers finally had the software solution their church or nonprofit needed. During this time, we also began to receive feedback requesting a multiple user option. In April of 2010, Aplos began development on a web-based solution. The web-based version of Aplos will have the same simplicity as the desktop application, while allowing for multiple users and a host of other features. The web-based suite is scheduled for release in the Fall of 2010.

Mission

We believe anyone should be able to utilize our software and maintain confidence that accounting methods are being implemented properly. We have resolved to create dynamic software that allows the user flexibility for their own accounting needs within their own organization. Our goal is to create the best nonprofit accounting software in the world by continuing to make the complex simple. Our aim is to help people and organizations spend less time on finances and more time succeeding with their own goals and vision. You do not need to be a CPA, have a great deal of time or feel limited by your software. Aplos is simple, efficient, and flexible.
